I came across this video on a marketing blog, and thought it was a great illustration of how even the most routine messages can be delivered in style!!
It also shows how giving employees some latitude can bring real benefits back to the company. Watch the video , then read the article to see what happened at the South West Airlines annual shareholder meeting.

The BNI joint social last week at Peckforton Castle was brilliant! 72 ‘adults’ and quite a few children attended on the night, making it a real family event.
A few thanks on the BNI Tarporley Leadership team’s behalf:
Sandra & Matt for helping with checking people in at the front table.
Jessica, Matthew & Chris from Peckforton Castle – thanks to you all and the team on the night for making it a lovely and well run event, with fabulous entertainment and hog roast too.
James & Mark – the falconers for giving us a great display.
Rosie for braving the chill to perform her much admired belly dancing routine.
Phil from The Hospice for bringing the car raffle tickets and the car on the night to show everyone what they could win when the draw for the car takes place later this year by the Hospice.
Winners of the raffles:
Photo prize with the Peckforton bird of prey: Scott Bayley (BNI Chester). Scott will be coming along to a future BNI Tarporley breakfast meeting to collect his framed image taken on the night.
The other prizes off the table went to: John Bendel (OH2 International), Natasha Edwards (Personal Trainer), Mike Kerrick (Sharples Group), Libby Entwisle (Entyce Creative), James Crane (Over Byte Interactive), Paul Porter (Porter HR Business Partners).
Auction winners:
Jessica Byron – A coaching session with John Warrington
Sharif Yousef - Multimedia production from BelowZero Video
David Maddock – Cabbage Hall, meal for four
The auction raised a total of £330.00. Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated.
The car raffle raised £155.00– the draw will take place in September – good luck to all who entered.
An enjoyable time was had by everyone and a good result for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd – BNI Tarporley’s favourite charity.

Two BNI Tarporley members are teaming up in an Alliance to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for a portfolio of marketing services to improve the effectiveness of UK exporters.
The combination of the translation capabilities of OH2 and WSI’s Internet Marketing skills enable UK exporters to deliver their message into their target export markets in the prospects’ local language, and with local internet visibility.
Other members of the UK Export Marketing Alliance provide further complementary services including film/video production and graphic design.
The UK Export Marketing Alliance recently presented at an Exporting event hosted by N. Staffs Chamber of Commerce and the UKTI, generating significant interest.
