Netstationers is a young company. It has a short but dynamic history since inception as, the first company to offer Office Products on the web, in 2000.The business has invested significantly in developing a technology based e-procurement application for acquisition of commodity products led by Office Supplies. This has resulted in a robust, differentiated business model that delivers a unique and sustainable competitive advantage. We are consequently the fastest growing Office Products supplier in the UK today with full national coverage but regionally based professional business managers.
Our model is based on an essentially counter intuitive positioning, diametrically opposed to our key competitors, who are principally the 'Contract Stationers'. They generally believe in showing the customers as little as possible. We believe in transparency of activity and results, which is afforded by our technology. This allows us to develop a platform based on complete integrity between us and our customer, and this is unusual in our industry.
Our product is particularly suitable for complex multi-site businesses, however we are also able to provide a compelling solution in partnership with SME's and single site operators based on our price promise and our advanced but simple to use functionality.
Our basic premise is to give our customers what they want and need. This revolves around the following three key deliverables:
Functionality
Few Finance Directors can truly say they have expenditure of commodity products under control. Few have visibility of costs and commitments and can proactively manage budgets. Even in today's roles of expensive ERP business intelligence and corporate automation systems, few company executives can influence what their organisation buys, from whom and on what terms.
Our software allows customers to control exactly who buys what, from whom and when, with flexible rules based authorisation protocols. Additionally our own software developers are able to effect data transfer between host accounting and procurement systems with regards ordering and invoicing protocols.
Content
In addition to the standard offering of office products we offer to append other catalogues of frequently ordered items that will facilitate additional control of expenditure within organisations on commodity products, which can be then either supplied through an Netstationers channel if appropriate, or alternatively directed electronically to a third party supplier.
Personalisation
Having created a control and supply network, it is important for client companies to ensure adherence. One of the ways in which we achieve this, is to brand the host procurement site with the customers own logo, branding and colouring thereby completely personalising the site. There is far less motivation for internal members of staff to work outside of the system, as it is transparently a company branded (internal) system, rather then a third party suppliers own website.
Due to the success of our furniture sales, we have recently launched a specialist office furniture division called Netinteriors. Netinteriors can consult, plan, supply and install office furniture ranging from SOHO and SME requirements to large scale office block requirements. Our project team might include specialists in CAD design, interior design, panelling and ventilation depending on the clients requirements.
