The Story behind the picture : BNI Tarporley meets at the Portal Golf Hotel and Spa and we have just elected a new Chapter Director and to promote BNI a few of us joined John Warrington in a picture shoot.
We have been able to showcase the work of Ashford Daly Photography as they provided the images. This image shows John after one of our meetings stood on the first tee supported by some of the Chapter members – Sandra Maddock, Jessica Byron, Sharif Yousef and Craig Wright.
Just play the ball, John!
Good shot! With all that fog, I’m surprised you found where the ball landed?!
Hunting the yeti on the dales proved easier than everyone thought!
It’s behind YOU!!!!
John joins the Tarporley swingers…
As John’s ball came to rest just inches from the hole, the committee welcomed him into the Bloody Nearly In club.
Geese cooperate to fly in formation to benefit from the reduction in drag and so save vital energy. The geese behind the lead goose honk in encouragement. Unfortunately, as the mist draws in and visibility diminishes, even a sharp eyed lead goose cannot react quickly enough to an incoming golf ball, hurtling skywards at over 100mph!
Due to the early hour, the rest of the BNI Tarporley members were busy off around the course to collect the golf balls, to the hilarity of the group left on the tee….
That must be half way to BNI Madrid by now…..
“You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today…..”
‘Don’t mind me. I thought I’d use these BNI Breakfast meetings to do my exercising.’
“We look for people who can quickly adapt to changes with business networking.”
‘Ah….. That’s better….. I’m feeling sufficiently incentivised now today.’
Designated area of outstanding natural profitability.
“Despite years of management training John still found it difficult to give negative feedback.”
The key to landing a good job is patience, persistence, timing, and networking. A bit like Golf really….
